Taste Try & Enjoy
Eten & Drinken 2010 was supposed to be the ultimate chance for people to explore the gastronomic flavours of the future. A simple name, a big event… but in my opinion a lot of hot air. The restaurants on show were lovely: like a haute cuisine foodcourt. Yet the claim of so called ‘flavours of the future’ was not met.
Culinary curiosities
What we did experience was a market with numerous delicious delicacies, culinary curiosities and remarkable products and wine cellars filled with superior wines and wine accessories from which could be sampled. We did enjoy the passion that most of the stall holders showed and it was difficult not to leave without buyng something.
Workshop
Sampling delicious food makes more hungry so we sat down for a lovely haute cuisine lunch (first and second course) before we ended up following a masterclass of pastry chef Rudolph van Veen which was fabulous. This event is was a delight and we will certainly go again next year.
